10/11 Program

O verview The purpose of this program is to allow a customer the opportunity to make an emergency purchase of a new or used battery or charger through IBP’s rental system . This is not intended to be used as a customer’s regular means of making its battery and charger capital acquisitions. L imitations • $30,000.00 maximum transaction • The Unit Pricing must be at standard pricing , not available when additional discounting • is offered. No other free or discounted services or products can be involved. H ow it W orks • A customer has an emergency need but for whatever reason cannot make an outright purchase (Capital Acquisition) • IBP offers to rent the needed battery or charger under our 10/11 program (Expense Budget) . • The purchase price, at standard pricing, is established. The purchase price is divided by 10 and then is billed by IBP through our rental program over 11 months . The eleventh month is effec tively the carrying charge (interest) for this transaction. • Example: $3,000.00 battery at standard pricing divided by 10 = $300.00/mo with a rental billing over the next 11 months. Total payments equal $3,300.00 . • As a rental transaction IBP retains ownership of the rental unit until all payments are received . If the customer defaults on their payments, IBP will repossess our asset with the help of the authorities if necessary. • A Rental Agreement must be prepared and signed by the customer before the transaction will be processed. • Although normal rental billings occur at the 28 day mark or upon return of the rental, whichever occurs earlier, these 10/11 rental transactions will be billed at the out-set . For example, if a battery ships on June 15th the first rental billing will go out on June 16th and every 28 days thereafter.
